My passion for smart homes
The roots of my company go back to the time when smart home technology was still a marginal topic. Under the name "HOME STAR Heraklit" I began to develop automated solutions for light, security and comfort - with the aim of making modern technology usable for every household. This passion for intelligent systems still forms the basis of my work today.
Over the years, however, an increasingly clear trend became apparent: Many of my customers had problems with roller shutter and awning motors - defective limit switches, blocked drives, unclear malfunctions. Instead of simply replacing the motors, they looked for a sustainable, professional solution. This is exactly where my technical understanding of the smart home sector helped me. Electromechanics, control technology and precise troubleshooting are a given in everyday smart home life - and therefore the perfect basis for high-quality tubular motor repairs.
From this combination, my current focus developed step by step: the professional repair of tubular motors from all leading brands, especially Somfy and Becker. The idea behind it: Why throw it away when you can repair high-quality drives and give them a second life?
This is how the Rohrmotor-Doktor was created - a brand that combines technology, sustainability and craftsmanship. Today I not only offer repairs, but also refurbished tubular motors from my “Second Life” program. What began with smart home technology has become a specialized repair and service company that has always retained its origins and values: precise technology, fair advice and long-lasting solutions.

No quick fixes, no exchange policy, but real diagnostic work.
The picture shows exactly what my service is all about: professional craftsmanship, fair prices and a repair that gives the motor a second life. Whether it's a roller shutter motor or an awning drive - I take care of defective limit switches, blocked drives, worn components and any kind of malfunction.
My aim is not to hastily replace high-quality branded motors such as Somfy or SIMU, but rather to repair them sustainably and reliably. And if an motor can no longer be saved, I offer tested, refurbished alternatives from my “Second Life” program.
