The term AAL (Ambient Assisted Living) is often used in this context, referring to an age-appropriate assistance system for seniors. With the numerous possibilities offered by a smart home, many everyday tasks can be simplified through automation. For example, family members could receive an alert through my smart home system if a water detector in the kitchen is triggered and remains on for an extended period, perhaps due to an accident in the kitchen. Features like automatically switching lights on and off based on motion may seem trivial, but they offer immense relief for seniors.
