Somfy CD 8000 – roller shutter and awning control for individual and central operation (used & tested)
Used and tested Somfy Line CD 8000 Small object control for operating an electrically operated roller shutter, an awning or a comparable 230 V drive.
The control enables direct operation using up and down buttons and can also be integrated into a compatible higher-level Somfy control.

Unless expressly stated, central buttons, sensors, connecting cables, flush-mounted boxes, surface-mounted caps or other mounting materials are not included.

Operation and functions
- Upward travel: Briefly tapping the open button starts the drive in the open direction
- Downward travel: Briefly tapping the down button starts the drive in the down direction
- Self-holding: the drive continues to travel to the limit position or until a countercommand is received
- Stop function: by simultaneously pressing the up and down buttons or by a countercommand
- Single operation: Direct operation of the connected drive on the device
- Central operation: Integration into a compatible higher-level Somfy control possible
- Automatic on/off: Central commands can be activated or deactivated on the device

Differentiation from Somfy CD 8010
- The CD 8000 is intended for roller shutters, awnings and similar applications with normal up/down control.
- The CD 8010 Additionally has a tap function for sensitively turning the slats of blinds.

The control has been tested and is prepared for further use. This is a used, no longer regularly available original item with possible age-related signs of wear, color and assembly.

The Somfy CD 8000 is particularly suitable for existing, older Somfy-Line systems where a defective control system needs to be replaced. A tested original device can be an economical and sustainable alternative to converting the entire control technology.
Assembly instructions
Installation, connection, testing and commissioning may only be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before working on the system, all connecting cables must be switched off and secured against being switched on again unintentionally.

- Please provide the model name before purchasing CD 8000 and check the existing connection assignment.
- The CD 8000 cannot be equated with the CD 8010, which is expanded for blinds.
- The device is intended exclusively for dry indoor areas.
