The Altus series combines proven RTS radio technology (Radio Technology Somfy) with the modern io-homecontrol® variant, allowing flexible integration into existing installations or smart home systems. Thanks to integrated radio technology, the drives can be controlled wirelessly – via remote control, wall transmitter or centrally through smart home hubs such as Somfy TaHoma or Connexoon. The motors ensure a secure connection to the respective sensors – e.g. wind sensors, sun sensors or weather systems – enabling automated, energy-efficient operation of awnings and roller shutters. Somfy is regarded as one of the most experienced radio drive manufacturers in Europe and has offered advanced radio technologies for over two decades, reaching a high level of maturity in the Altus series.

If the goods are installed, commissioned or if an attached safety label is damaged or removed, this constitutes use beyond mere inspection. In such cases, reasonable compensation for diminished value may be charged in the event of withdrawal in accordance with § 357 German Civil Code (BGB).
