Becker R40/17C_PS+ tubular motor, used & reconditioned | Electronic awning motor

Becker R and L Series E12 PS PS+ SE – electronic tubular motor (used & refurbished | tested)

Your Becker tubular motor says:

“I was the motor that knew when to stop, thanks to my electronic limit settings.”

“With Thomas Reh I learned how to stop exactly again – gently, precisely and reliably for my awning.”

The electronic Becker motor for awnings

Becker's E12, PS(+) and SE electronic tubular motors are electronically controlled drives developed specifically for awnings and counter-tension systems. They combine precise limit-position technology with robust mechanics, ensuring accurate stopping points as the awning extends and retracts.

Electronic limit detection preserves the settings over time and allows them to be reprogrammed when necessary. These motors are particularly quiet and durable, making them ideal for high-quality awnings and applications with counter-tension mechanisms.

Every repair is checked in the specialist workshop, electronically tested and carried out using the original settings for awning motors, leaving the motor “tested” for its next outdoor use.

Advantages compared to a new purchase

  • Sustainable: Environmentally friendly repair instead of replacement: proven electronics stay in use.
  • Cost-saving: Repair cheaper than buying new, no conversion or new control required.
  • Automatic limit positions: After repair, electronic limit detection is retained, provided a factory reset was not necessary.
  • Reliable: Electronics are tested and ensure precise limit position adjustment for awnings and counter-pull systems.
  • Compatible: Suitable for awning systems with WT control or external timer technology.

Fault symptoms covered by this repair

  • The awning extends, but only retracts with slight pressure
  • Motor runs, hums or responds with a delay
  • Clear “clack” noise when changing direction

  • Setting & reset cable hire for motors

Resetting tubular motors & setting limits: optional hire cable
For a factory reset or readjustment of the limit positions, many 230 V tubular motors may require a setting cable, particularly when the reset sequence must be triggered via the circuit breaker (fuse) and the motor is out of sight or earshot.

Many motors confirm the reset with a clicking sound or a brief motor movement. With a universal setting & reset cable for hire, commissioning or resetting is easier to monitor, without repeatedly moving between the motor and the fuse box.

The hire cable is not included in this motor offer, but can be ordered separately from the shop, subject to availability.
