Warema RM Series E03 ROP+ Tubular Motor Repair – Specialist Workshop for Electronic Drives in Roller Shutter & Awning Systems

Your Warema tubular motor says:

“I am the motor that has reliably provided shade and safety for years – whether inside your roller shutter housing or your awning system.”

“At Thomas Reh, my electronics were tested, my limit settings recalibrated, and my strength restored – ready for many more operating cycles.”

The electronic Warema motor for roller shutters & awnings

The motors of the RM series with the designations E03 and ROP+ are among Warema’s proven electronically controlled tubular motors. They are suitable for both roller shutter and awning systems and are known for precise electronic limit detection that remains permanently stored and can be easily readjusted when required.

Thanks to their compact construction and reliable electronics, these motors are ideal for use in prefabricated roller shutter boxes, front-mounted systems, and awning installations. They can be operated with common Warema controls or external switches and can be reused reliably in existing installations.

Each repair is inspected in the specialist workshop, electronically tested, and carried out according to the manufacturer’s specifications – “tested” for the next outdoor installation.

Advantages compared to buying new

  • Sustainable: Environmentally friendly repair instead of replacement – proven electronics remain in service.
  • Cost-efficient: Repair is more economical than purchasing new; no conversion or new control unit required.
  • Automatic limit detection: After refurbishment, the electronic limit detection remains functional – unless a factory reset was necessary.
  • Reliable: Electronics are tested to ensure convenient limit setting and precise motor operation.
  • Compatible: Suitable for roller shutter and awning systems in built-in, front-mounted, and flush-mounted installations.

This repair applies to the following fault symptoms

  • Roller shutter lowers, but requires manual assistance to rise
  • Awning extends, but retracts only with slight manual support
  • Motor runs, hums, or reacts with delay
  • Noticeable “click” sound when changing direction
