The reliable Somfy motor with manual override
The LT series from Somfy, available as LT50 and LT60, is among the most robust tubular motors for roller doors and large awnings. Their integrated manual override (NHK) allows manual opening or closing even during a power outage – a crucial safety feature for both commercial and private installations.
The CSI and RDO versions include additional mechanisms for power transmission and locking, ensuring precise movement and high operational safety. These motors are particularly durable and can, in most cases, be professionally overhauled and put back into service.

Repair: Professional repair within 1–2 business days.
 
 
Return shipment: Return shipping is possible at standard parcel rates, provided the motor is packed securely, compactly, and transport-safe. For oversized or inadequately packed items (e.g., tube packaging or bulky cartons), I reserve the right to charge additional return shipment fees.

 
Processing & shipping times
 
 
The motor is repaired no later than the next business day after receipt.
 
 
Return shipping usually takes place within the following business day.
 
 
Processing time may vary depending on platform and shipping method; detailed information is provided when ordering.

 
Important prerequisites
 
 
Repair available only for selected Somfy models (see variant list)
 
 
No repair possible in cases of total damage (e.g., water damage, burnt windings, defective gearbox or brake)
 
 
The motor must not have been opened or tampered with

 
Product safety and quality
All repairs are carried out according to relevant safety standards and ensure proper motor function. Any changes to the building’s electrical installation must be performed exclusively by qualified electricians.
 
Service & extras
Upon request, I can provide a loan cable for setting or resetting the motor. Please contact me in advance.
 
Warranty
A statutory warranty of 2 years applies exclusively to the installed replacement parts.
No warranty is provided for the entire motor or any additional components.
