The proven Somfy radio motor for awnings & roller shutters

The Somfy Altus radio motors – available in RTS and io versions – are among the most reliable radio drives for awnings and roller shutter systems. They combine durable motor technology with modern radio communication and allow convenient control via remote transmitters, timers or smart home systems.

With io technology, Altus motors can be integrated directly into mobile applications, enabling operation via smartphone or tablet. This ensures convenient and future-proof control, even in older installations.

All motors are tested in the specialist workshop, checked for function and end limits, and leave the workshop “tested” and ready for use.

Repair process

Order: Select the appropriate motor model and complete the order.
Shipping: Send the defective motor properly packed (shipping costs by the buyer).

Repair: Professional repair within 1–2 working days.
Return shipping: Return shipping is possible at standard parcel rates if the motor is securely packed. For bulky or insufficient packaging (e.g. tube cartons or oversized parcels), I reserve the right to charge additional shipping costs.

Processing & shipping times

Motor is repaired no later than the following working day after arrival.
Return shipping usually takes place within one additional working day.
Processing time may vary depending on platform and shipping method; precise information is provided when ordering.

Important requirements

Repair only for selected Somfy models (see variants list).
No repair in case of total damage (e.g. water damage, burnt windings, defective gearbox or brake, or surge damage).
Motor must not have been opened or manipulated.

Product safety and quality

All repairs are carried out according to relevant safety standards and ensure proper motor function. Modifications to the building installation may only be carried out by qualified electricians.

Service & extras

On request, I offer a loan cable for setting or resetting the motor. Please contact me in advance.

Warranty

A statutory warranty of 2 years applies exclusively to the installed replacement parts.
No warranty is provided for the complete motor or other components.

Each repair extends the lifetime of your motor, reduces electronic waste and conserves valuable resources.
