I offer used tubular motors from the SIMU T5 E and T5S E series – professionally refurbished, function-tested and ready for a secure second life in your roller shutter installation.
The electronic limit setting and, depending on the version, the integrated obstacle detection make these drives particularly convenient and safe in everyday use. The electronic limit detection enables gentle, precise stopping without mechanical adjustment. Depending on the system design, the motor can either store a fixed limit position or be controlled via torque monitoring, for example for tight closing against a stop profile.
SIMU is part of the Somfy Group and is considered one of the pioneers of modern tubular motor technology.
These motors are particularly popular in prefabricated box systems and front-mounted roller shutter systems, as they automatically and precisely adapt to the travel paths of the roller shutter without mechanical adjustment.
Every motor is tested, cleaned and assessed in my registered craft business in accordance with the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR).

The T5 E and T5S E motors are ideal for use in modern roller shutter systems where precise, reproducible end positions are required.
Thanks to the electronic limit setting, the manual adjustment is no longer necessary, which makes installation in prefabricated box and front-mounted systems particularly simple.
The motors monitor the travel path and, depending on the version, detect obstacles or blocking, which protects both the system and the motor and ensures smooth, low-wear operation.
 
 
 
Sustainability meets safety
Instead of disposing of intact drives, the motors offered here are professionally tested, refurbished and evaluated in accordance with the current EU safety requirements (GPSR).
This gives a fully functional motor a second life – a sustainable alternative to buying new.
All motors offered are tested according to GPSR and meet the current requirements for general product safety for the European market.
Each drive is individually assessed; only motors in technically good condition that pass all functional and safety tests are released for sale.

Compatibility: Please check shaft dimensions, bearing mounts and installation situation of your existing system to ensure that the motor fits mechanically.
 
 
Type plates and housings: Type plates or housing details may differ from the product photos, as Somfy and SIMU have changed series markings over the years. The respective variant description always states which torque and speed are supplied.
 
 
Accessories: If you need matching bearing brackets, adapters or connection cables, you can order these separately in the shop – if available – or ask me directly.
 
 
Cable types: Newer models are equipped with a pluggable connection cable. Older variants usually have a permanently mounted connection cable of sufficient length.
 
 
Documentation: An operating manual is usually provided digitally (for example as a PDF) after purchase, where available.
