The intelligent SIMU radio motor

The T5S E BHZ series is among the most modern radio drives from SIMU, a brand of the Somfy Group. These bidirectional radio motors feature integrated obstacle and frost detection and actively communicate with the control unit. They not only confirm the receipt of a command but also report their current status – ideal for smart home solutions.

Thanks to precise electronic end-limit detection and torque control, roller shutters move smoothly and gently on the material. Repairing these motors is particularly worthwhile, as they are technically sophisticated and new purchases often involve high system costs.

Return shipping: Return shipping is generally possible at standard parcel rates if the motor is packed securely, compactly and transport-safe. For bulky or inadequate packaging (e.g. tube cartons or oversized parcels), I reserve the right to charge additional return shipping costs.

Processing & shipping times

The motor is repaired no later than the following working day after receipt.
Return shipping usually takes place within one further working day.
Processing times may vary depending on platform and shipping method; exact details are provided when the order is placed.

Important requirements

Repair only for selected Simu models (see variant list).
No repair in case of total damage (e.g. water damage, burnt windings, defective gearbox or brake, as well as surge damage).
The motor must not have been opened or tampered with.

Product safety and quality

All repairs are carried out in accordance with the relevant safety standards and ensure proper motor operation. Any changes to the building installation may only be carried out by qualified electricians.

Service & extras

On request, I offer a loan cable for setting or resetting the motor. Please contact me in advance.

Warranty

A statutory warranty of 2 years applies exclusively to the installed replacement parts.

No warranty is provided for the complete motor or other components.
