Becker R L Series E12 / C12 PS PS+ SE Tubular Motor Repair – Specialist workshop for electronic awning motors with limit-stop technology
Your Becker tubular motor says:
“I was the motor that always knew when to stop – precise, quiet and reliable in daily operation.”
“At Thomas Reh, my electronics were tested and my limit positions were recalibrated – ready to move the awning reliably again.”
The electronic Becker motor for awnings
The electronic tubular motors of the E12 and C12 series from Becker were specially developed for articulated-arm awnings and cassette awnings. They combine precise limit-stop technology with robust mechanics, ensuring exact stop points during extension and retraction – even after many operating cycles.
The motors are characterised by smooth operation, high repeat accuracy and durable construction. Thanks to the electronic limit-stop detection, the settings remain permanently stored and can be readjusted when required – ideal for awnings with tension systems or complex mechanical setups.
Every repair is tested in the specialist workshop, electronically checked, and carried out using the original factory parameters for awning drives – “tested” and ready for the next use under sun, wind and weather.
Advantages compared to purchasing a new motor
- Sustainable: Environmentally friendly repair instead of replacement – proven electronics remain in service.
- Cost-effective: Repair is cheaper than buying new, no conversion or new control unit required.
- Automatic limit stops: After repair, the electronic limit-stop detection is retained – provided no factory reset was necessary.
- Reliable: Electronics are tested to ensure precise limit-stop settings for awnings and tension systems.
- Compatible: Suitable for awning systems with Becker controls or external timer control units.
This repair applies to the following fault patterns
- The awning extends normally but retracts only with manual assistance
- Motor runs, hums or responds with delay
- Audible “click” sound when changing direction
